The fire-breathing dragon glanced at its fallen mate, then at its own condition, and gradually calmed down.
Mo Qiancheng, noticing that the fire-breathing dragon was no longer in a state of desperation, took out a recovery spray from his pocket and applied it to the injured creature.
After a while, the fallen fire-breathing dragon slowly regained consciousness.
Mrs. Charizard rushed over in relief and embraced her husband.
Meanwhile, Mo Qiancheng sat down on the ground and released several other Pokémon: Metagross, Magneton, and the newly acquired Boss Cordora, along with Shield Sword and Nut Dumbbell.
Standing atop his Steel Armored Crow, Mo Qiancheng had the six Pokémon form a circle around the two weakened fire-breathing dragons.
"Alright, let's talk. My mission is to become the master of this secret realm, which essentially means overseeing you two.
So, here are your options: either submit to me and relocate to a new area, or stay here but agree to avoid interfering with trainers unless provoked. What do you say?"
The two fire-breathing dragons exchanged glances and shook their heads, unwilling to leave their homeland for an unfamiliar place.
"Fair enough," Mo Qiancheng continued. "Then the second option it is. Stay out of trainers' way unless they provoke you. Otherwise, keep a low profile. Understood?"
The dragons nodded in agreement.
Mo Qiancheng smiled, satisfied that his task was complete.
"Great. Now, let me explain the rules of the Secret Realm Master. Just follow them, and we’ll be fine. First..."

Meanwhile, on the other side, Dad Lu and Dad Sui were bickering as usual.
Dad Lu: "Why did I have to run into you first?"
Dad Sui: "Because you’re lucky."
Dad Lu: "Lucky? I still haven’t found my son!"
Dad Sui: "Well, I found mine. So, what’s the plan now?"
Dad Lu: "Use your Waveguide ability to locate them."
Dad Sui: "But if I use it, my son will sense it too."
Dad Lu: "If we can’t find anyone, what’s the point of worrying about that?"
Dad Sui: "Fair point."
Dad Lu closed his eyes, clenched his right fist against his chest, and chanted, "Waveguide, guide my heart."
He activated his Waveguide ability at full strength, sending out a pulse.
After a moment, Dad Lu shook his head.
"No trace of the kids. They might have already left the secret realm."
Dad Sui sighed. "Alright, let’s head out too."
---
Back to Mo Qiancheng.
"Alright, that’s everything. Got it?"
The two fire-breathing dragons nodded, though they still looked a bit dazed.
"Good. I’ll be on my way now. Take care of yourselves."
With a roar, the dragons acknowledged him.
Mo Qiancheng recalled his Pokémon, mounted his Steel Armored Crow, and flew toward the secret realm’s exit.
Mrs. Charizard foraged for some berries nearby and fed them to her husband. Once the two dragons regained some strength, they too took flight, heading back to their home.
It’s worth noting that this reflects the Dragon Kingdom’s approach to managing secret realms. In contrast, some other countries might not bother subduing the realm’s guardians, leaving trainers to fend for themselves against hostile creatures.
---
At the secret realm’s exit, Mo Qiancheng ran into Dad Lu and Dad Sui, who were also preparing to leave.
"Well, well, if it isn’t Dr. Lu and Professor Sui! What brings you two to this secret realm?" Mo Qiancheng teased with a grin.
Dad Sui’s face darkened. "None of your business."
Mo Qiancheng slung an arm around Dad Sui’s shoulders. "Come on, don’t be like that. We’re old classmates, after all."
Dad Sui pushed him away, scowling. "Get off me. You’re as annoying as ever."
The three of them—Dad Lu, Dad Sui, and Mo Qiancheng—had been classmates years ago. While Dad Lu became a professor and Dad Sui earned his doctorate, Mo Qiancheng chose the path of a Pokémon trainer.
Despite their close bond, Dad Sui always found Mo Qiancheng’s carefree attitude irritating, fearing it might rub off on him. Mo Qiancheng, on the other hand, took great pleasure in pushing Dad Sui’s buttons.
As they bantered, the trio stepped through the secret realm’s exit.

Outside the secret realm, Sui Yan was busy organizing the spoils.
"Come on, everyone, let’s divvy up the loot!" he called out.
Noticing Tang Yunqin standing off to the side, Sui Yan waved her over. "Hey, Tang Yunqin, join us!"
Tang Yunqin, snapped out of her thoughts, blinked in confusion. "Huh? What’s going on?"
"We’re sharing the spoils. Come on!"
Sui Yan emptied his backpack, spreading out the items he’d collected from the nest and the cave. The cave’s colorful stones, however, were discreetly handed to Lu Ze, who would later pass them to Tang Yunqin. Revealing them now would only invite unnecessary attention.
Among the items were various Pokémon props, held items, and berries. Lu Ze’s eyes lit up.
"Not bad at all," he remarked.
Sui Yan puffed out his chest. "Of course. Who do you think I am?"
Lu Ze grinned and added his own haul to the pile, though he kept the Starf Berries and a few Mega Stones for himself.
Su Tingxi spotted a Dragon Fang among the items and picked it up.
"Can I take this?" she asked.
Sui Yan waved her off. "Sure, go ahead."
Su Tingxi happily pocketed the item and pulled out her phone. "I’ve transferred the market price to you. Check it."
Sui Yan frowned. "Why are you paying? Just take it!"
Su Tingxi patted his shoulder. "Brother, it’s only fair. Besides, even at market price, I feel like I’m getting a steal. These things are hard to come by."
Sui Yan sighed. "Fine, but after the college entrance exams, I’m treating everyone to a trip. No arguing!"
The group cheered in agreement.
As they continued sorting through the items, a nearby merchant approached.
"Hey, kids, now that you’ve picked what you need, can I buy the rest? Name your price."
Lu Ze and Sui Yan exchanged glances, then nodded.
"Sure, go ahead," Lu Ze said casually.
The merchant’s eyes gleamed as he began selecting items. Soon, other merchants and even some onlookers joined in, snapping up the remaining goods.
Once everything was sold, Sui Yan checked his phone and grinned at the balance.
"How about we go back in?" he suggested.
